Ornamental Trees

  • The Lombardy Poplar is a narrow, upright, fast growing tree to a height of 20 metres. It has heart shaped bright green leaves, darkening through Summer and turning golden in Autumn.
  • The London Plane is a very hardy large spreading tree that grows to a height of 20 metres. This tree has unusual bark of mottled greys and fawns that flakes off during Winter. It has large, thick, green leaves shaped similar to a Maple.
  • This curious and attractive tree has the growth habit and foliage of the Laburnum, but its remarkable feature is the variety of blooms. In late spring /early summer some branches bare the yellow racemes of the Laburnum, whilst others bear dense clusters of soft, pink racemes.

  • This cultivar of the Red Canadian Maple is regarded as one of the best. It is a large upright tree with a rounded crown, growing to a height of up to 12 metres.
  • This is a strong growing upright tree, with a wide spreading crown. The palmate foliage is dark green with silver undersides, turning golden and red in Autumn.
